  • Thank you for your interest in becoming a Coach for The Stagiaire Foundation. As a Coach, you will play an important role as a teacher, mentor, and host to one or more participating Stagiaires. Your role is voluntary and includes the following: 1) Develop a Stage experience that will engage a Stagiaire(s) in a deeper exploration of the region's food and drink traditions. 2) Host at least one (1) Stage experience that will last 7 - 10 days. Stages take place during the months of June - November. 3) Continue to provide coaching or advice to your Stagiaire(s) once s/he returns home and begins working with his/her newly acquired knowledge. 4) Participate, as available, in a show-and-tell dinner with your Stagiaire at the Stahj event space in Pinewood Forest, outside of Atlanta. Travel, lodging and food stipends will be provided. 5) Participate, as interested, in a docuseries that is being created to tell the story of the Foundation, the Coaches, and the Stagiaires. WHO ARE THE STAGIAIRES? Our goal is to create peer-to-peer interactions, sharing of techniques, traditions, etc. Established chefs and beverage experts with a minimum of 7 years experience will be eligible to apply for a stage experience. Coaches will play a role is selecting the Stagiaire(s) to participate in their experience. The Stagiaire Foundation will be responsible for the travel, lodging, and travel visa fees for the participating Stagiaires.
